Elise Boudreau Graham

Elise Boudreau Graham is an artist, cultural worker, and public school teacher born in the Maritimes and based in Montreal. She is a MFA candidate in Fibres & Material Practices at Concordia University with a studio practice that combines repurposed materials, imagery, and text to create new contexts for old objects. Her research focuses on the aesthetics of public and private space and how dominant narratives are both reflected and resisted by the objects found within these spaces.

Elise holds a BFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from NSCAD University (2013) and a MA in Teaching and Learning from McGill University (2021). She co-founded Friends & Neighbours Gallery (2017–2019) and has served as co-director of Céline Bureau since 2019.
