Celeste Midori

Celeste Midori is a genderqueer photographer from Toronto, Ontario. Midori has been taking photos in a diary format since a very young age when at which point they were given a small automatic camera to document what was going on around them. Midori took photos of their family and friends mostly. They have always been fascinated by the dynamics of relationships around them. Now, both their art and their occupation have become about connectivity, community, and about ideas surrounding love, both in platonic and intimate/romantic ways.
