Laurence D. Dubuc
Laurence D. Dubuc is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Arts, Culture and Media at University of Toronto Scarborough. Her academic work focuses on the study of precarity regimes in the Canadian arts sector, and on “better work” strategies led by artists and collectives. She is also interested in assessing the potential and limitations of community-engaged methods to reimagine and enact just futures. She holds a Ph.D from the School of Industrial Relations (University of Montreal), and oversees research and advocacy at the Association acadienne des artistes professionnel-le-s du Nouveau-Brunswick (AAAPNB).
