Shahin Sharafaldin
Shahin Sharafaldin (b.1995) is an oil painter born in Vancouver, recently based in Montreal. His investment in the effect of figurative representation has led him to making vitalistic projections of liveliness that are informed by homosocial sensibilities, friendship, utopic ideation and desire. Sharafaldin graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a BFA in 2018. Past shows include “Bad Flavour, Wonderful Taste” at Centre A, "Shadow Tongue" at Duplex, “Crocodile Tears” at Unit 17 as well as Unit 17’s Art Toronto display this past fall.
