Call for Participants : Critique Group for Céline Bureau Members

May 12, 2025, 5:09 p.m.  –  by Céline Bureau

Céline Bureau is organizing an interdisciplinary critique group for members this June. Eight participants will meet weekly over four Saturdays. Each session, two participants will present work for peer feedback. Each session will also feature guest attendees who have experience in Montreal’s arts community.

Crits are a way to test ideas, language, and see how your work is received. They’re useful for building clarity—both in the work and how you speak about it. They’re also a chance to exchange references and resources. This is a non-paid, peer-led space for critical, constructive feedback. This is not a class, residency, or exhibition — it’s about making space for regular, structured conversation among peers.

You can apply to be part of the June Critique Group sessions here.

Dates: Saturdays in June (7, 14, 21, 28)
Time: Noon to 2pm
Location: To be announced

  • Space is limited to eight participants, however additional applicants will be considered for future sessions.
  • This program is open to Céline Bureau members only. If you’d like to become a member, you can do so here
